Kuaishou's Kling 4.0 video AI fully launches with 30-second clips and 4K HDR

Kuaishou's Kling AI has fully launched its new video generation model Kling 4.0. The creation page got a major upgrade, the model now connects to MCP and CLI tools, and API access for businesses and developers is coming soon.

Kling 4.0 brings big gains in realistic visuals, creative control, and storytelling. It can generate videos up to 30 seconds in one go, extend them to 2 minutes through reshoots, and take up to 10 keyframes for precise control. Prompts can now run up to 8000 tokens.

On quality, the model supports rich stereo sound and better lip-sync, plus 4K and 1080p 10-bit HDR output in a 21:9 ultra-wide format. One task can mix up to 10 images, 5 videos, and 7 subjects, cutting down on repeated tweaks.

It works with languages like Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, offers styles from cinematic to pixel art, and lets users add, change, or remove subjects and backgrounds in videos.
