Kunlun Wanwei's Fang Han: Ordinary people need to spend 100 yuan/month on AI to keep up; white-collar workers are most affected by AI
Fang Han, chairman of Kunlun Wanwei, suggests that ordinary people in the AI era should use AI more to get proficient. Spending about 100 yuan per month on AI services or tokens is like paying utility bills—this way, you won't fall behind. He believes the gap in AI usage between people will widen, and career growth paths are changing: practitioners either become high-level talents or stay at the beginner stage.
Fang Han points out that white-collar workers are the most affected by AI; those whose work is fully completed on computers are most likely to be replaced. In contrast, engineering fields with more offline interaction and hands-on operations are hard to be replaced by AI in the short term.
Kunlun Wanwei's "Skywork Desktop" released in February this year can execute tasks locally without uploading files to the cloud. It can read various files like images, videos, and spreadsheets on the computer, summarize and organize them, and support multi-task parallelism.
