Lei Jun Talks About New SU7 Iteration and Xiaomi's AI Progress: Would Still Choose to Build Cars, AI Achievements to Be Announced Soon

Lei Jun recently released a video answering public questions about the new SU7, including whether he would still choose to build cars if he went back 5 years ago and Xiaomi's AI layout. He said that even if he went back 5 years, he would still choose to build cars—though the process was harder than expected, it was also more interesting; if he hadn't built cars then, he would probably have devoted himself fully to AI.

Regarding the new SU7, Lei Jun mentioned that the appearance changes of successful models need to be cautious, so the new SU7 has little change in appearance. He is confident in the sales of the new car, saying that announcing the replacement information in advance, stopping sales of the old model and preparing production are signs of calm and confidence. The new SU7 will be launched on March 19, with the previous generation delivering 380,000 units in two years.
