Michael Saylor: Bitcoin Won't Be Disrupted by AI and Will Be a Major Beneficiary
Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, recently said that the rise of AI will compress terminal value and make the competitive moats of traditional assets short-lived. Capital will thus flow to assets without disruption risks. Bitcoin, as a scarce and neutral digital capital, is not disrupted by AI and should be a major beneficiary of this shift.
He also pushes for enterprise and national adoption of Bitcoin: holding Bitcoin is a better capital strategy for enterprises—MicroStrategy itself has continuously increased its holdings through financing. Additionally, he lobbies the U.S. government to treat Bitcoin as a digital commodity and strategic reserve asset to maintain global financial leadership.
