Microsoft Plans Copilot Super App with Up to 50% Discount for Businesses

Microsoft is planning to push businesses to adopt Copilot with more aggressive pricing, while also launching a super AI app that combines multiple capabilities.

According to The Information, Microsoft has told its sales team to offer about 30% to 50% discounts on Copilot AI subscriptions for business customers. The deals are expected to start as early as October. Companies buying 1,000 or more seats can get about 30% off, while those buying 10,000 or more seats may get up to 50% off.

On the product side, Microsoft plans to upgrade Copilot into a super AI app that brings together AI coding tools and OpenClaw-style agent skills. The app will not only handle Q&A, summaries, and content generation in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, but also serve as an automation platform that can call tools, run multi-step tasks, and help with software development.
