MiniMax opens its first Tmall flagship store to sell AI subscription plans
Chinese AI model companies are moving their subscription sales to e-commerce platforms. MiniMax has officially opened its first flagship store on Tmall, offering M Plan subscriptions in three tiers — Go, Explore, and Build — with monthly or yearly payment options.
Earlier, Zhipu, Alibaba Cloud, and Qianwen Office also opened stores on Tmall. The platform launched a Token recharge center called "AI Space Station", bringing multiple AI model subscriptions under one entrance. According to Shanghai Securities News, Kimi and StepFun are also in talks with Tmall to open their own stores.
Previously, AI model companies mainly sold subscriptions through their own official websites. This move to e-commerce platforms is changing how AI services reach users.
