Momenta to launch R7 Ultra world model with 5x scale and safety boost

Momenta announced at the launch event of its partner XHEART that it will soon release the R7 Ultra world model. Built on data and the XHEART X7 Ultra chip, the model has 5 times more parameters and 5 times better safety performance, moving from understanding the world to reasoning about it. The X7 Ultra chip offers 700 TOPS of computing power with a big-core NPU design, allowing larger models to run directly in cars for better scene understanding and prediction. In tricky situations like multi-turn U-turns, meeting traffic, yielding while reversing, and tight parking, the model can drive as well as or better than skilled human drivers. Momenta plans to scale it up 10 times in the future. Momenta is an autonomous driving company offering solutions for mass-production cars, driverless freight, and robotaxi services.
