XHEART reveals next AI chip X9 goals: 3000 TOPS, due in 2027

At its launch event, XHEART shared the core goals for its next-gen AI chip X9: 3000 TOPS of AI computing power and 700GB/s of memory bandwidth per chip. The chip is planned for 2027.

CEO Li Zonglin said the company will keep a steady R&D pace: one generation in mass production, one in development, and one in early research. The X9 will follow its 'model-defined chip' approach, boosting computing and memory together so bigger AI models can run efficiently.

XHEART spun off from Momenta's chip project and took just two years from founding to mass production. Its first X7 chip lit up within 24 hours of arrival, and reached full vehicle integration with software and driving models by day 17, passing tests on real roads and in bad weather.
