Moonlight AI's Kimi Valuation Quadruples to $18 Billion in 3 Months, $1 Billion Funding Round Underway

Moonlight AI's Kimi, an AI large model, has seen its valuation soar to $18 billion recently, quadrupling in just three months. It set a record as the fastest domestic AI large model unicorn to surpass the $10 billion valuation mark. Currently, Kimi is in the process of a new $1 billion funding round and has completed three rounds of financing in less than three months, making it the domestic large model company with the most consecutive financing rounds in recent years.

Data from global payment platform Stripe shows that Kimi's personal subscription payment orders grew explosively from January to February. The number of orders increased by 8280% month-on-month in January and another 123.8% in February, indicating a significant surge in user demand.
