Musk Announces Digital Optimus/Macrohard AI Project: Can Simulate Entire Company Operations

Elon Musk revealed that Tesla and xAI have jointly developed a large AI project named "Digital Optimus" or "Macrohard", the first collaborative result under their investment agreement.

The project can simulate the entire operation of a company, handle real-time computer screen images, keyboard and mouse operations, and perform multi-position office tasks like accounting and human resources.

Musk said Grok acts as the commander-in-chief for decision-making, while Digital Optimus executes operations—like the thinking and intuitive parts of the brain.

Core scenarios include enterprise automation and cost savings, but it also raises labor replacement concerns, and will form soft-hard synergy with Tesla's physical Optimus robot.
