Earlier this month, Musk revealed the 'Digital Optimus' (also called 'Macrohard') project, a joint effort by Tesla and xAI. He explained that Grok acts as the decision-maker, like an advanced navigation tool, while Digital Optimus is the executor handling real-time operations.

Key use cases include enterprise automation and repetitive tasks. In the future, it may collaborate with Tesla's Optimus robots—robots handle physical work, and 'Digital Optimus' manages paperwork and office tasks.
