Musk: Grok Computer Agent to Launch Wider Beta in Three Days, Paving Way for 'Macrohard'
Early this morning Beijing time, Musk responded to a user on the X platform, stating that the private beta of the Grok Computer agent has been opened to some users, and a wider beta will be launched in three days.
In March this year, users noticed that Grok Computer was about to go online and speculated it would be a preview version of 'Macrohard'. Musk later reposted the post saying 'coming soon' and revealed that the project, jointly developed by Tesla and xAI, is named 'Digital Optimus' or 'Macrohard'.
Musk once explained that Grok is System 2 (the thinking and decision-making part), responsible for deeply understanding the world and directing Digital Optimus to perform real-time computer operations; Digital Optimus is System 1 (the intuitive and instinctive part), and their cooperation is like an advanced navigation software.
