Musk on AI Competition Landscape: Google Wins West, China Wins Earth, SpaceX Wins Space

Recently, Bindu Reddy, CEO and co-founder of Abacus.AI, posted on X criticizing Google Gemini 3.0 for failing to meet expectations, with most users still on version 2.5. She suggested Google abandon side projects, focus resources, and train 100 models from 100 teams simultaneously before selecting the best.

In response, Elon Musk replied: Google will win the AI race in the West, China will win Earth, and SpaceX will win space. Notably, SpaceX completed its merger with xAI in February this year, with a post-merger valuation of $1.25 trillion. Musk's mention of SpaceX here actually includes its AI business.
