Musk says Grok can shop online with just a credit card photo

xAI CEO Elon Musk announced a new shopping feature for Grok Bot: users just need to send a photo of their credit card to the chat. Grok will then search the web for the best deals and place the order automatically.

The lead of OpenAI's Codex and ChatGPT team responded by saying "I might as well just leave my card right here," along with an AI-generated fake credit card photo, hinting at the security risks of leaking payment info this way.

Another user revealed that Amazon has blocked Grok Bot's access. Musk replied that Grok will find other ways to shop - he just bought LEGO, ordering directly from LEGO's official website.
