NetEase Youdao Launches China's First Fully Open-Source AI Agent Product "LobsterAI" to Solve Office Pain Points

Recently, NetEase Youdao officially launched China's first AI Agent product, "Youdao Lobster" (LobsterAI), which is also the first domestically developed AI Agent product with 100% open-source code. Positioned as a "24/7 all-scenario personal assistant Agent", it aims to solve industry pain points like "difficult to use" and "data leakage concerns" of AI Agents.

LobsterAI supports a skill store, full GitHub skill installation and real-time updates, with 16 core office skills including document processing and data analysis. It also connects mobile and PC ends, allowing users to remotely command via DingTalk, Feishu, etc. Its fully open-source nature ensures local data storage to eliminate leakage risks and supports secondary development.

Using a GUI interface, no complex operations are needed. Users can call skills via natural language, completing tasks like talking to colleagues, realizing a "digital double" on standby at any time, effectively integrating into daily work flows.
