NVIDIA in deep talks to acquire Reflection AI, may use acqui-hire to skip antitrust review

According to the Financial Times, NVIDIA is in deep talks to acquire the US startup Reflection AI or invest more in it. The company builds open-weight AI models and recently released its first one, called Beam. Talks are still at an early stage, and both sides hope to wrap up a deal in the coming weeks, though it could still fall apart.
