Nvidia Unveils Rubin & Feynman Generation Chip Roadmap at GTC 2026, Confirms Rosa CPU for Feynman GPU
Nvidia unveiled its Rubin (2026-2027) and Feynman (2027-2028) generation chip roadmaps at GTC 2026, confirming Rosa as the CPU paired with Feynman GPU for the first time.
For Groq LPU, the Rubin generation will launch LP35 after LP30, supporting NVFP4 data format and expected to release in 2027 alongside Rubin Ultra; Feynman's LP40 will support NVLink to further enhance interconnection with GPU+CPU systems.
Feynman GPU uses 3D advanced packaging with chiplet stacking and custom HBM. Jensen Huang mentioned that optical interconnection will be used not only for scale-out but also for in-rack scale-up scenarios, with NVLink 8 supporting CPO co-packaged optics as a prime example.
