OpenAI and Higgsfield Team Up to Make AI Videos Up to 10 Minutes Long
OpenAI has announced a partnership with AI video platform Higgsfield. After adding GPT-6 Astra, the platform can now make AI videos up to 10 minutes long, up from just 1 minute.
GPT-6 Astra lets creative agents use outside tools for complex tasks like 3D modeling. This keeps characters, scenes, and visual details consistent in long videos, which is a big challenge. Higgsfield already uses it to make 10-minute tutorial videos for its YouTube channel with nearly 500,000 subscribers, cutting down lots of manual work.
For images, the platform added GPT-Image-2.5, which can render readable text and infographics on images, helping small businesses make promo materials at low cost. About 200 creatives at the company also use Codex to turn ideas into software prototypes, speeding up product development.
Next, Higgsfield will explore "speech-to-video" creation based on GPT-Live-1. Users can describe ideas out loud, and AI will understand them and create videos in real time.
