OpenClaw Founder Builds AI Scheduled Tool to Clean Twitter, Crypto Promotion Accounts Precisely Blocked
OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger recently shared that he built an AI-powered automatic blocking system for Twitter mentions using OpenClaw, which runs every 5 minutes. The system sends a daily block digest email listing blocked accounts and AI's judgment reasons; it blocked 56 accounts in the past 24 hours.
Blocked account features include low-quality comments from crypto projects, product promotion by piggybacking on celebrity traffic, conspiracy theory spamming, and even "reply guys" who habitually grab attention in celebrity tweets.
Regarding false positives, Steinberger said he will evaluate appeals one by one, but AI judgments are usually accurate. He emphasized that using AI to assist writing won't trigger blocking as long as the content is meaningful.
