Sam Altman's Company Launches Concert Kit to Curb Concert Scalping via Eye Scan Tech
Recently, the concert market has seen a surge in popularity— Guangzhou hosted 5 simultaneous concerts featuring Zhou Shen, Li Jian, etc., in one night, creating an unprecedented spectacle. However, scalping issues have also intensified, affecting fans' normal ticket purchases.
To address this pain point, Tools for Humanity, a company owned by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, launched the Concert Kit tool. This tool uses the Orb eye-scanning device to build a "human proof" system, part of the World ID project upgrade, using privacy-safe technical means to prevent bots and scalpers from hoarding tickets, helping to improve the fairness of concert ticketing.
