Samsung HBM4 memory sales exceed $1 billion, with mass production and HBM4E samples out

According to South Korea's chip industry, Samsung Electronics' HBM4 memory sales have exceeded $1 billion (about 6.787 billion yuan). The product started mass production in February 2026.

Samsung's HBM4 uses 1cnm DRAM Die and 4nm logic Base Die, with 12Hi stacking, 36GB per stack, 13Gbps pin speed, and 3.3TB/s bandwidth. Last month, Samsung also sampled 12Hi 48GB HBM4E memory, with pin speed up to 14-16Gbps and bandwidth reaching 3.6TB/s.

This milestone shows Samsung's lead in high-bandwidth memory, supporting AI and high-performance computing.
