SenseTime partners with Hong Kong Science Park to build the city's largest domestic AI data center by 2030
Hong Kong Science Park and SenseTime have signed a memorandum to jointly build AI computing infrastructure. The goal is to create a computing power scale of over 40,000 PetaFLOPS by 2030, making it the largest domestic AI data center in Hong Kong.
The project will be rolled out in phases, with the first phase expected to be completed this year. The center will be equipped with diverse domestic GPU clusters, providing efficient and stable computing support for model training, inference, and large-scale application deployment.
This partnership aims to speed up AI adoption in Hong Kong and boost its global competitiveness in tech and AI. The center will help develop AI applications in high-value areas like finance, education, healthcare, and urban governance.
