SoftBank launches SB Neo in the US for AI cloud services

SoftBank Group and its subsidiary SoftBank Corp. plan to set up a joint venture called SB Neo in Delaware, US. SoftBank Group will hold 49% and SoftBank Corp. 51%. SB Neo will use SoftBank's 10GW energy and AI infrastructure to offer computing power for US companies training and running large AI models. The cloud service is expected to launch in fiscal 2027 and expand gradually. SoftBank Corp. started testing AI GPU cloud services in Japan in May, and that experience will help SB Neo's US operations. SoftBank Group's ongoing large-scale AI infrastructure projects in the US will also support SB Neo.
