Tencent Cloud Becomes OpenClaw Community Sponsor and Launches Nationwide Free Installation Program

Tencent Light Cloud recently became a sponsor of the OpenClaw community, joining major players like OpenAI and Baidu on the sponsorship list. Meanwhile, Tencent Cloud launched a nationwide free installation program for OpenClaw, offering one-stop services including installation, model configuration, and skill setup in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

The popular free installation event at Tencent's headquarters is making a limited-time comeback. Users don't need to register or book an appointment—just bring their computers to complete OpenClaw deployment and environment configuration on-site. They can find event locations via Tencent Maps by searching for 'Shrimp Raising Map'.

However, OpenClaw's founder previously noted that Tencent scraped its platform data on a large scale without prior communication, leading to significant server cost pressure. Tencent responded that SkillHub is a localized platform based on the OpenClaw ecosystem, serving only as a local mirror and crediting ClawHub as the source.
