Tencent Yuanqi AI Agent Platform to Shut Down in November 2026

Tencent's AI agent platform Yuanqi has announced it will shut down on November 9, 2026, due to business adjustments. Users can still log in and use their existing agents until then, and are advised to export their data soon.

Starting October 29, 2026, the platform will stop allowing new agent creation and API key distribution. After the shutdown, all services will close, and agents published through channels like official accounts and WeChat customer service will stop responding to users.

Yuanqi launched in May 2024 as a platform for building and sharing AI agents. It lets users create agents without coding, with built-in plugins, knowledge bases, and channels like QQ, WeChat customer service, and Tencent Cloud.

Before the shutdown, users can back up agent settings, workflows, and chat history with the export tool. There is a transition period until January 9, 2027 to download data. After that, all user data will be deleted.
