TrendForce Predicts: ASIC Solutions Will Account for Nearly 40% of AI Servers by 2030
Market research firm TrendForce recently stated that with the development of self-developed chip camps led by large cloud service providers like Google and Amazon, the proportion of ASIC solutions in AI servers will gradually increase. It is expected to grow from 27.8% this year to 39.5% by 2030, nearly 40%.
Meanwhile, Nvidia has also added LPU chips to its GPU-centric AI infrastructure to improve performance in actual inference workloads through heterogeneous computing. In its product line, GB300 has replaced GB200 as the main shipment model, and its proportion is expected to approach 80% this year; the new VR200 system is expected to start shipping from the end of Q3 2026.
