UBTech Plans to Establish Global Headquarters in Shanghai, Build Commercial Humanoid Robot Base with 3000 Units Annual Capacity
UBTech's Vice President Hou Zongfang recently revealed plans to invest in Shanghai's 'Six One' project, including setting up its global brand headquarters and building a commercial humanoid robot manufacturing base. The base is expected to have an annual capacity of over 3000 units, helping Shanghai become a core hub for the embodied intelligence industry.
In addition, UBTech will establish an embodied intelligence application transformation research institute in Shanghai, focus on industrial application conversion, build an entrepreneurship incubation platform, and co-launch an industrial fund for robot segments with Shanghai state-owned platforms to invest in embodied intelligence-related enterprises.
UBTech launched the industrial humanoid robot Walker S2 last July, equipped with self-developed BrainNet 2.0 and Co-Agent technology. This Shanghai project will further promote its technology implementation and industrial scale development.
