USTC Releases 'Lingjing Zaowu' AI Research Tool to Boost Global Autonomous Scientific Innovation
On April 25, the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) released the 'Lingjing Zaowu' AI research tool in Hefei, Anhui. This is an open cloud service platform for global research entities, marking the move of AI-driven scientific research toward engineering and open sharing.
Built on a full-stack domestic hardware and software ecosystem, the tool integrates scientific large models, research robots, automatic experiments, and other capabilities. With over 1,000 multi-modal research robots and 10,000+ intelligent workstations, it enables autonomous research and material creation, addressing pain points like high cost and long cycles in traditional research.
Currently, the system is open to global researchers, allowing access to core functions like intelligent experiments via cloud services. It is based on Ascend, Kunpeng, and Huawei Cloud, leveraging MindSpore and Huawei Jiuwen to build capabilities and create domestically independent and controllable intelligent research infrastructure.
