World's First! Galaxy General Launches Humanoid Robot That Can Play Tennis, Forehand Success Rate Over 90%
Galaxy General and Tsinghua University team jointly launched the world's first humanoid robot capable of complex tennis matches. Equipped with the self-developed LATENT intelligent control algorithm, the robot masters tennis skills through deep reinforcement learning without pre-programming.
Standing 1.75 meters tall, its binocular vision system can lock onto incoming balls at over 50 km/h in 0.1 seconds, moving flexibly across the court to adjust posture. In tests, its forehand success rate reaches 90.9%, and it can stably complete more than 20 consecutive rallies, with autonomous control of return landing points and rhythm—its movements are as smooth as human athletes.
