Wuxi launches city smart computing cloud platform 'Token Supermarket', serving nearly 50 companies
Wuxi City in Jiangsu Province has launched a city-level smart computing cloud platform called 'Token Supermarket', the first commercial-scale cluster of its kind in the province. Since its trial run in late May, it has served nearly 50 clients. The platform gathers over 13,000 PFLOPS of computing power and offers mainstream AI models like Alibaba Tongyi, DeepSeek, and StepFun. Users can choose services like text creation or smart Q&A, paying only for the tokens they use. For small businesses, this platform cuts costs significantly, and local companies can also apply for city-level computing vouchers for subsidies. One local security firm, for example, saw a big boost in R&D efficiency and cost savings, thanks to the platform connecting over 30 model providers and automatically picking the best solution.
