Xiaomi to Invest Over 60 Billion Yuan in AI in Three Years; MiMo-V2.5 to Be Open-Sourced Soon
At Xiaomi's investor day, Vice President Qu Heng announced that the company will invest over 60 billion yuan in AI over the next three years, focusing on reshaping the 'human-vehicle-home' ecosystem through the Agent paradigm. Xiaomi has full-stack AI capabilities covering infrastructure, data, models, etc., aiming to enhance ecosystem experience and enterprise efficiency.
The MiMo large model has a retention rate of over 35% after charging, with Pro/Max versions accounting for more than half of revenue. MiMo-V2.5 will be open-sourced soon, compatible with almost all domestic chips, and its AA intelligence and Agent index rank first among global open-source large models. The team has an average age of 25, with 60% from Tsinghua and Peking Universities and 55% holding doctoral degrees.
In addition, Xiaomi has made rapid progress in embodied intelligence: the first-generation robot model was completed in just six months, and complex actions can be mastered with extremely low training costs. Miclaw will fully integrate with Xiaoai to empower multiple scenarios; enterprise efficiency is expected to increase by 500% through AI, covering the entire process from product development to operations.
