Xinghai launches Kengo, a humanoid robot that can do backflips and clean homes
Xinghai today unveiled its new bipedal humanoid robot Kengo, available in three colors with different dexterous hands, even including a boxing glove version. The robot uses a 'motor cerebellum + embodied brain' system, needing only two core modules for all joints, with torque over 130Nm per joint, enabling dance and interactions.
Demo videos show Kengo doing backflips, kip-ups, and household tasks like cleaning and carrying items. Xinghai hasn't revealed specs or pricing yet.
