2026 Robot 'Baturu' Challenge Registration Opens, Focusing on Emergency Rescue Training Scenarios
Registration for the 2026 Robot 'Baturu' Challenge is now open. The event will take place at Beijing Nanhaizi Park on April 18, with the theme 'Yi Qi · Zhi Yuan' (Together · Smart Rescue). Focusing on natural disaster emergency rescue training scenarios, it sets 17 challenges covering general, humanoid-exclusive, quadruped-exclusive, and additional categories to test robots' performance in tasks like ruins traversal and material transportation.
A key highlight is the realistic training scenario replication, simulating outdoor obstacles and environmental variables to ensure high consistency between competition and real-world applications. Participating teams can get full-cycle support including technical verification, industrial resource connection, and result landing cooperation, as well as direct access to emergency scenario orders and capital empowerment to accelerate result transformation.
The challenge recruits global universities, enterprises, research institutions, and startup teams. Eligible robots include humanoid, quadruped, and quadruped wheeled types. Interested parties can scan the QR code to download the application form or contact teachers Ren and Wan for details.
