Alibaba Cloud Token Plan Personal Edition Upgraded with 12 New Agent Tools for Standard and Pro

Alibaba Cloud announced an upgrade to its Token Plan Personal Edition. Prices and Credit allowances remain unchanged, while Standard and Pro plans now include Agent Harness tool benefits covering search, web parsing, image generation, speech processing, code execution, and 12 other common Agent development capabilities. These tools are open via the MCP standard protocol and can be directly integrated into custom Agent applications without separate purchases.

The Token Plan Personal Edition targets individual developers and small teams. Lite costs 39 yuan/month with 2,500 Credits every 7 days; Standard costs 139 yuan/month with 10,000 Credits every 7 days; Pro costs 499 yuan/month with 40,000 Credits every 7 days.

After the upgrade, Standard and Pro plans add monthly Harness benefits including enhanced web search, vertical search, web parsing, code interpreter, speech synthesis, speech recognition, and image generation. When monthly benefits run out, extra usage gets an 12% discount off list price, deducted from the Alibaba Cloud account.

The upgraded benefits take effect from September 11. Existing subscribers receive the new benefits plus a one-time 7-day quota reset. Token Plan supports calls in Qwen desktop, Qoder, Qwen Code, Codex, OpenClaw, and other Agent apps.
