Alibaba Qianwen Launches Table Agent, Supporting Direct Excel Generation and Editing in Conversations

Alibaba Qianwen recently launched the "Table Agent" feature, allowing users to directly generate and edit Excel files in conversations. Without complex operations, users can ask Qianwen to create tables using natural language, and the system usually outputs downloadable Excel files within 1-2 minutes, eliminating secondary copy-pasting.

This feature supports multiple scenarios: generating tables by retrieving information (e.g., compiling VAT preferential policy lists), structuring multi-turn conversation content (like travel plans) into tables, recognizing content from images or files (PDF, Word, etc.) to generate tables, and analyzing/editing existing Excel files (such as data sorting and formula calculation).

Currently, Qianwen's Table Agent is fully open. Users can use this feature for free via the Qianwen App, web version (qianwen.com), and PC platform.
