Huawei's Xiaoyi AI Shortcut Bar Delayed to Early November Rollout

At its HarmonyOS 7 launch event on September 7, Huawei introduced a new feature called the Xiaoyi AI shortcut bar. According to official slides, once enabled, Xiaoyi will stay in the Dock at the bottom of the phone's home screen. Huawei customer service first said the feature would arrive by the end of October. The latest update is that it will roll out in early November, pushed in batches depending on the phone model, and users will see system update prompts. The AI shortcut bar is a new HarmonyOS 7 feature. Once turned on, the AI entry appears in the bar, and users can tap it to explore more AI services, making the phone's built-in AI easier to use.
