Alibaba's Qoder CLI Now Lets Individual Users Add Custom AI Models
Alibaba's AI coding command-line tool Qoder CLI announced that starting from v1.1.50, individual users can now add their own custom models. Users just need to enter the API address, model ID, and API key to use their own models.
The feature supports both the international and China versions, and works for both free and paid individual accounts. The company suggests filling in the context capacity based on the model's actual specs. If left blank, Qoder CLI will manage context at 128K by default.
Qoder CLI is one of the product forms of Alibaba's agent coding platform, released in October 2025. This opening means individual developers can more flexibly integrate third-party models into their coding workflows.
