Anthropic Adds Personal Finance Feature to Claude for US Users

Anthropic has added a personal finance feature to Claude. It rolls out this week to Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers in the US. After securely linking a bank account, users can ask questions in plain language instead of checking banking apps one by one. The feature is read-only. Claude cannot move money or invest for users. It can show balances and transactions, explain confusing terms in simple words, and has no ads or sponsored picks. In daily use, Claude can add up spending across accounts and sort it by category. It can spot duplicate charges, odd fees, or bills that quietly went up. It can also make weekly spending charts, bill calendars, and custom dashboards. Anthropic notes the tool is only for understanding your money, not investment advice. Results can be wrong, so double-check big numbers with your bank.
