Anthropic Launches Claude for Office Suite: Seamless Collaboration Across Excel, Word & More, Outlook Version in Public Beta

Anthropic officially released Claude for Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, while the Outlook version entered public beta for all paid plan users. These tools can switch between different apps with users without needing to re-explain work content.

Claude supports cross-file collaboration; users can open spreadsheets, presentations, and memos side by side, with changes flowing between files and conversations saved per file.

In Outlook, Claude can sort inboxes by emails that need user replies, those it can draft on behalf of users, or spam. Reply drafts auto-fill recipients, subject lines, and body text, requiring user approval before sending.

All paid Mac and Windows users can access Claude for Microsoft 365; the Outlook version is in beta. Admins can deploy these add-ins from Microsoft AppSource via the Microsoft Admin Center.
