Anthropic Launches Claude Service for Small and Medium Enterprises, AI Platform Competition Extends to Micro-Merchants
Anthropic recently launched a Claude service package for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), designed specifically for micro-merchants like local hardware stores and community coffee shops. Previously, deep AI applications were mostly concentrated in large enterprises, but now SMEs are gradually embracing AI technology.
The service provides automated functions via the Claude Cowork platform, including bookkeeping, business data analysis, and marketing ad creative generation, and integrates with mainstream software like QuickBooks and Canva. Anthropic plans to conduct a nationwide tour across 10 U.S. cities, offering free AI training to local SME owners.
Currently, AI platform competition has extended to the micro-merchant sector. OpenAI previously launched ChatGPT Business for small teams, and Anthropic's move aims to compete for this market.
