ChatGPT teams up with Tubi: Conversational movie recommendations playable directly; Sora project ends

ChatGPT's app ecosystem has welcomed its first streaming partner, Tubi. Users can link Tubi to ChatGPT and get movie/series recommendations through conversations—like asking for baseball-themed films. ChatGPT will list relevant titles on Tubi, and clicking a result lets you play it directly, along with popular lists and follow-up suggestions.

In addition, OpenAI's AI-generated video project Sora has recently been terminated, meaning its AI video business is temporarily on hold. This collaboration and project change reflect ChatGPT's dynamics in exploring application scenarios and adjusting its business.
