Couple Earned 2 Million Yuan via AI-Written WeChat Public Accounts? WeChat Bans Non-Human Automated Creation
Recently, the topic "Couple earns 2 million yuan annually by writing WeChat public accounts with AI" went viral. According to a business interview account, the couple used AI to generate content for their public accounts, but most of the 2 million yuan income came from 299-yuan deposit fees charged to students rather than traffic ads.
WeChat team responded that the platform encourages real-person creation and explicitly prohibits using AI or other automated methods to replace humans in content creation and publishing processes, or spreading such tutorials. Violators will face traffic restrictions, account bans, etc.
Currently, the couple's company public account "Bao Le Me AI" has been banned, and the parties confirmed that the account and mini-program are unavailable. WeChat stated that it supports tool-assisted creation but opposes full automation replacing humans, hoping to build a healthy ecosystem together.
