Google launches Dreambeans, an AI app that turns your data into daily inspiration
Google's experimental team, Google Labs, has launched a new AI app called Dreambeans. It's now available for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US on both Android and iOS. The app uses your personal Google data—like Gmail, Calendar, Photos, YouTube, and search history—to create 10 to 14 personalized 'life notes' every day. These notes suggest things like nearby coffee shops, tips for raising a puppy, or articles you might like. The goal is to help you find new ideas and cut down on mindless phone scrolling.
The app processes your data while you sleep and presents the insights in the morning. The name 'Dreambeans' comes from 'dream' (because it works at night) and 'beans' (like coffee beans, giving you a fresh start to your day). Privacy is a big focus: only you can see your notes, and you can delete your data or choose which Google services to connect anytime. For now, it's only for US subscribers, but other Google users can join a waitlist.
