Google signs a huge cloud deal with SpaceX, paying over $900M monthly for GPU power
Google has struck a cloud computing deal with SpaceX, paying around $920 million each month from October 2026 to June 2029 to rent data center computing power. The deal includes at least 110,000 Nvidia GPUs and other chips, mainly for AI training and inference tasks. For Google, this helps ease supply shortages and expansion delays. For SpaceX, it brings a major new revenue stream and strengthens its story ahead of a potential IPO.
