Grok Releases First Seven Minutes of Its AI-Made Odyssey Film

Elon Musk once said Grok would make a full, historically accurate Odyssey movie. Three months later, Grok has released the first seven minutes, calling it Episode 1 of the series. It was made with Wonder Studios and director Dev Walker. Musk had criticized Nolan's Odyssey for casting non-white and transgender actors. Nolan's film was mostly shot on real locations across six countries. It became a big box office hit after its July release, with IMAX tickets sold out for months. TechCrunch said the Grok version looks better than Musk's other AI videos, and some scenes seem almost real. But the film lacks art and emotion, with stiff lines and long narration, making it hard for viewers to care about the story.
