Guangxi Releases First Steel Industry Large Model "Xuan Tie" to Boost Digital-Intelligent Transformation

As one of Guangxi's top ten pillar industries, the steel sector is accelerating digital-intelligent transformation. Liuzhou Iron and Steel Group, together with Huawei and China Mobile Guangxi, released "Xuan Tie"—Guangxi's first steel industry large model. It covers 20+N scenarios across six links like ironmaking and steelmaking: ore blending decisions are cut from 72 hours to 16 minutes, equipment faults can be warned 72 hours in advance, and machine vision recognition accuracy exceeds 99%. The Guangxi Liuzhou Iron and Steel AI Research Innovation Center was unveiled, which will open core capabilities to promote AI applications in Southwest China and ASEAN countries, serving the Belt and Road Initiative.
