Honor's Humanoid Robot 'Lightning' Wins Autonomous Navigation Group at Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon, Breaking Human Record
The 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon concluded, with Honor's self-developed robot 'Lightning' winning the autonomous navigation group with a net time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds, significantly breaking the human half marathon world record (previously 56 minutes and 42 seconds). In this event, the top six robots crossing the finish line were all from Honor, demonstrating its systematic R&D and engineering capabilities in embodied intelligence.
Honor's robots' excellent performance comes from full-stack self-developed technologies: integrated joint modules provide strong power, liquid cooling systems solve high-load heat attenuation issues, and high-dynamic motion control algorithms ensure real-time decision-making. Honor CEO Li Jian stated that the company will focus on the consumer market in the future, implementing scenarios such as mall shopping guides, factory inspections, and home companionship to promote embodied intelligence to consumer-level applications.
