In the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon, Honor's autonomous navigation robot 'Lightning' won the championship with a net time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds, significantly shortening the previous winning time and surpassing the human half marathon world record of 57 minutes and 20 seconds.
The event adopted a mixed timing mechanism: the autonomous navigation group had a score coefficient of 1.0, while the remote control group had 1.2. 'Lightning' is 169cm tall, equipped with high-torque joint modules, high-power liquid pumps and high-energy density batteries to solve heating and endurance issues.
The event attracted over 100 teams and more than 300 robots, with tracks including various terrains. Unitree H1 robot also broke the human 1500m record in proportion during the qualifying round.
