Honor's Humanoid Robot 'Lightning' Wins Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon, First Mobile Vendor to Claim Title
The 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon concluded. Honor's self-developed humanoid robot 'Lightning' from the Qitian Dasheng team won the championship with a net time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds, making Honor the first mobile terminal manufacturer to win this event. Of the 105 teams in the final, all 10 Honor teams advanced, performing outstandingly.
The top three finishers all used Honor's 'Lightning' robot, and the first six were all from Honor. They also won both the autonomous navigation and remote control tracks. The 'Lightning' in the autonomous navigation group outperformed the world record of human men's half marathon, while the remote control group's 'Lightning' had a weighted finish time of about 57 minutes.
The event verified the comprehensive performance of Honor's robots: they can stand up autonomously in tens of seconds after a fall and pass curves smoothly at high speed; their running posture is human-like, designed with reference to professional athletes. Honor's heat dissipation and lightweight technologies from consumer electronics provided core support for the robots' stable performance.
