Honor's Humanoid Robots Sweep Top 6 in Beijing Yizhuang Half-Marathon, Breaking Human Half-Marathon Records
At the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half-Marathon, Honor's 'Lightning' robots took the top three spots, while 'Yuanqizai' won the 'Best Gait Control Award'. Notably, Honor's robots swept the top six positions, all breaking human half-marathon records, surprising netizens.
This achievement isn't accidental: Honor migrated technologies from its mobile phone sector—like liquid cooling and precision structure—to robot R&D. For example, 'Lightning' uses liquid cooling instead of ice packs, showcasing self-developed strength. Honor's product line president Fang Fei said this is a natural migration of technical accumulation, not a cross-border move.
Honor established its humanoid robot department in February 2025, with a team of over 200 people covering full-chain R&D. In March last year, it launched the Alpha Strategy, planning to invest 10 billion USD over 5 years to build an all-scenario AI terminal ecosystem. This result is an initial achievement, and the future is worth looking forward to.
